A St Albans man will answer charges of reckless conduct endangering life following an alleged run-in with police in Springvale.
Police also charged the 30-year-old with traffic offences over the alleged incident on Westall Road on Saturday 4 November.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol members on motorbikes were called in to investigate suspected hooning about 7pm.
They said the driver involved drove towards them before fleeing the scene and dumping his car.
Police have seized a car in relation to the incident.
The St Albans man was bailed to face Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 13 December.
