Three … community spaces to go to grow.
1. The Noble Park Community Centre’s community garden is always looking for volunteers to maintain and develop the beds. The club meets from 9am to 11am each Friday for planting, presentations, workshops and more. It’s in Memorial Drive and can be contacted on 9547 5801.
2. The community garden at Dandenong Neighbourhood House is open to all residents. The King Street site offers an opportunity to combine a healthy activity with healthy food. Beds are available for lease and gardeners can plant and pick their own produce. Call 9792 5298.
3. The Springvale Community Garden is filled with vegies, fruit trees, bees, flowers and more. It’s at 1-7 Morwell Parade and can be contacted on 9540 8618.
