Bombardier signed a $77 million maintenance contract for its Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project rail controls.
The Dandenong-based manufacturer announced the 10-year deal on Thursday 19 April and said it included an option for five extra years.
“Bombardier’s range of signalling services will enhance rail network performance and greatly improve the passenger experience,” managing director Andrew Dudgeon said.
Last December Bombardier, as part of the Rail Systems Alliance (RSA), won the contract to install its high-capacity rail control solution for the $11 billion Metro Tunnel Project.
