Noble Park man mugged

A man has been robbed of his phone and cash by two males in central Noble Park.

The 26-year-old Noble Park victim was out walking on Douglas Street, about 10 metres from an underpass near Shepreth Avenue about 11pm on Tuesday 14 May.

He was approached by two males from a group of five. One of them, described as Caucasian, grabbed the victim’s arms, pulling his hands behind his back.

The other, described as African and wearing a face mask that covered his mouth, demanded the victim’s phone.

He searched the victim’s jacket pockets and removed his phone and cash.

The offenders joined three males waiting nearby and ran along Shepreth Avenue.

The victim suffered no physical injuries.
