Floods keep roads closed

Heatherton Road remained closed westbound at Dandenong North due to floodwaters today, although city-bound traffic could reach the Monash Freeway at Endeavour Hills.

The road was closed in both directions on Friday and Saturday as Dandenong Creek flooded.

In other road closures around Greater Dandenong, Glasscocks Road at Lyndhurst was closed between Western Port Highway and Frankston-Dandenong Road at Bangholme.

Motorists were advised to take care on Thompson Road at Bangholme between Eastlink and Mornington Peninsula Freeway, where water was over the road surface.
