Machete threat in Dingley robbery

TWO men wearing hockey masks threatened staff with a machete during an armed robbery at a Dingley supermarket last night.

The men demanded money after entering the Woolworths supermarket on Centre Dandenong Road about 7.30pm.

They fled with cash and cigarettes from the supermarket, driving a dark blue Holden sedan or wagon.

One of the men was described as about 185 centimetres, medium build and having an Islander accent.

The other man was about 180 centimetres with a solid build.

Both were wearing black hooded tops.
