NOBLE Park’s St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School students dressed to showcase their cultural heritage in an early Harmony Day celebration on 15 March.
Harmony Day is officially marked on 21 March as a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the land’s traditional owners to those from other countries around the world.
Harmony Day activities are designed to help participants learn and understand how all Australians equally enrich the nation.
The St Anthony’s celebration also coincided with Victoria’s Cultural Diversity Week of 16 to 24 March, which is an opportunity for people across the state to share their culture, faith and language and celebrate multiculturalism’s benefits.
