DANDENONG Thunder kept its league-cup double plans alive sealing a place in the FFV State Knockout Cup semi-finals last night.

The Thunder, which leads the Victorian Premier League ladder, hosted regional side Cobram Victory at George Andrews Reserve in the second and last of their quarter final group matches and won 6-0.

The Thunder had five different goal scorers with Nate Foster, Luke Sherbon, Sean McIlroy, Veton Korcari and Mathew Theodore all finding the back of the net along with a Victory own goal.

Despite losing to Heidelberg United in their other group game, the Thunder look assured of going through to the semi-finals as two teams out of the three-team group progress.

The Thunder will be joined by the winner of the Cobram Victory v Heidelberg United match scheduled for next Wednesday.

Port Melbourne, Sunshine George Cross and Pascoe Vale are in the other quarter final group with two teams to progress to the semi finals.

The FFV will announce the semi-final match-ups when all matches have been completed.

The Thunder will be back in Victorian Premier League action on Friday night when they visit Bentleigh Greens at Kingston Heath Soccer Centre.
