Malaysian overstayers busted

Police discovered three Malaysian nationals who had overstayed their visas during a random vehicle check in Springvale last Thursday week.

A 39-year-old man, a 40-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were processed by immigration authorities after checks revealed they had been staying in Australia illegally.

The two men have been detained pending deportation. The woman has been released.
