Energy shame

IT’S a shame that we haven’t built up a strong renewable energy industry years ago.
When Jimmy Carter was President of the US, he put solar panels on the White House and started a strong renewable energy program.
If that had been continued, perhaps there would be no need for CSG mining! No wrecking of good farmland!
Obviously the oil industry didn’t want that.
So now we have this situation where we are wrecking the environment and getting shafted by OPEC!
No prizes for guessing which way our Federal Government would jump!
Endorse coal in this day and age?
Build up renewables or approve CSG mining?
We do whatever the Yanks dictate!
