A CARJACKER dragged a driver from his car in Dandenong and drive off with his vehicle.
Police said a 21-year-old Dandenong man was driving a 1998 Toyota sedan near Robinson and Clow streets about 7.30pm on Friday 4 December.
A man of Islander appearance, wearing a high-visibility singlet and shorts, staggered onto the road and forced him to stop.
The man approached the driver’s window and asked him for a lift to Springvale before grabbing the keys from the ignition and opening the door.
He then dragged the driver from his seat and threw him to the ground.
The thief tried to grab the 27-year-old passenger, a Dandenong man, but he fled.
Police said the thief got into the car and drove toward Princes Highway and has not been located.
The victims were shaken and suffered very minor injuries.
