A man armed with a knife threatened staff and stole cash from a Dandenong petrol station.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said the thief entered the Liberty Service Station about 12.10am on Tuesday 29 November.
Brandishing a knife, he demanded money from the staff member behind the counter.
The 21-year-old victim opened the till and the thief removed cash and fled on foot.
He was wearing a black-coloured balaclava and black hooded jumper.
Police officers and Canine Unit members attended shortly after but were unable to locate the thief.
