Premier Daniel Andrews officially opened a new learning space at Nazareth College.
He visited the Noble Park North school on Friday 26 May to launch the Joseph Centre for Applied Learning.
The State Government contributed $1 million towards the project, which included refurbishment of the applied learning centre, food technology rooms and toilets.
The grant was part of a $120 million plan to upgrade Catholic and Independent schools by matching the sector’s contribution dollar-for-dollar.
“One in three Victorian students attend Catholic and independent schools, and this funding is helping to provide new and improved facilities for schools like Nazareth College,” Mr Andrews said.
“The staff and students at Nazareth College have every right to be very proud of their school.
“This high quality applied learning centre will match the high quality of teaching at the school.”
