A would-be thief fled empty-handed from a Noble Park milk bar – even after the attendant ran for safety and left the till open.
Police said a man entered the Harrisfield Milk Bar on the Princes Highway about 6.30pm on Sunday 4 November.
He bought items from the store, before demanding cash.
The victim ran to rear of milk bar, leaving the cash register open, and the failed thief ran.

Police have released CCTV footage of the robbery attempt in the hope that anyone who recognises the man will contact them.
