Shot fired during hold-up

Two men armed with guns stole cash from a Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre pub.
Police said the pair entered the licensed premises on Police Road, Mulgrave, shortly before 6.30pm on Friday 2 March.
They demanded and obtained an unknown amount of cash before patrons chased them into a nearby car park, where it’s believed a shot was fired into the roof.
One person was assaulted during the incident and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The two men fled in an unknown direction.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still being determined and no arrests have been made.
On Wednesday 14 February, motorcyclist armed with a firearm held up a security van at the shopping centre.
No one was injured during the incident but the bandits took a quantity of cash.
