Proteges paint up a storm

A five-year-old’s passion for art has inspired a classroom of friends at Robin’s Nest Early Learning Centre, Noble Park.

According to her teachers, Noura is known for her endless creative expression.

She converts recycled materials into art, constantly drawing, painting and talking about her ideas.

Her classmates followed suit, creating a mighty collection of works for the inaugural Robin’s Nest art show on 23 November.

The critics (aka the parents) loved the show. Works were put up for sale, and raised funds for art materials and pottery facilities.

“We believe that through the arts children develop a creative mind and are able to express themselves through the many different languages, enhancing their overall development,” spokesperson Nicole Whatman said.
