A beauty of a show

SLEEPING Beauty is coming to the Drum Theatre in Dandenong these school holidays.
Everyone young and old will have the opportunity to enjoy a classic and timeless fairytale brought to life on stage by Promac Productions on Wednesday, 11 April at 11am.
The production is directed by internationally acclaimed director Hugh Halliday and written for the stage by award-winning children’s writer David Kaffey, with original music by the sensational David Cameron, who is also musical director for some of Australia’s leading stars, including Marina Prior and Denise Drysdale.
This new production brings together a cast of highly acclaimed professionals including Amy Larsen from the successful Gaslight Company, who will play the role of Sleeping Beauty, and David Gould, who has starred alongside John Farnham in Jesus Christ Superstar and opposite Jon English in the hit productions of The Pirates Of Penzance and The Mikado.
Michelle Fitzmaurice, who starred in Promac’s previous production of Goldilocks, will play the roles of the Scary Fairy, Posh Fairy and Barbie – who makes a special appearance.
The very funny Brian Hannan will play the hilarious role of the Jester and veteran actress Gheda Pusey will play Ginger Fairy.
All in all, this is a skilled and talented team which will guarantee the children and adults who see Sleeping Beauty a truly great time.
Book through the Drum Theatre on 9771 6666.
