WORLD AIDS Day was acknowledged at the Springvale Plaza on Thursday, 1 December with staff from Greater Dandenong council and South East Alcohol and Drug Service (SEADS) running a stall providing information on HIV/AIDS.
Visitors to the stall also had the chance to win a $20 Safeway voucher, with 20 people winning after they entered a quiz on their knowledge of HIV/AIDS.
The event received funding from council as well as the AIDS, Hepatitis C and Sexual Health Line.
