KEYSBOROUGH suffered a 136-point loss to a ruthless Cranbourne outfit at Casey Fields on Saturday.
The Burras were unable to hold Cranbourne’s key forwards and limit their rampaging midfield.
After a competitive opening quarter, Keysborough slipped badly in the second term, allowing Cranbourne to kick 11 goals to one.
Keysborough held Cranbourne to three goals in the third term before the floodgates again opened in the last quarter, when the Eagles kicked 7.10 to two behinds to collect another big win.
Keysborough remains winless and last on the ladder.
"They are undermanned," Cranbourne coach Doug Koop said.
"Six of their best players were not playing, so it’s hard to put up your best performance when you’re missing your best players.
"But we can only compete against what they send out and our boys were pretty good."
Tyson King maintained his strong form and the versatile big man kicked three goals while providing staunch resistance.
Keysborough’s veteran core of Michael Downie, captain Ryan Goodes and recruits Glen Hawthorn and Geoffrey Humphreys tried hard.
Keysborough hosts Pakenham on Saturday.
