A BATTLE of the champions will take place at George Andrews Reserve on Sunday afternoon as the Dandenong Thunder take on A-League team Melbourne Victory.
The Thunder, reigning triple-championship winners from 2012 in the Victorian Premier League, take on the Victory to see which team has the bragging rights in this town.
The curtain raiser to the match is an under-21s match between the Thunder and North Sunshine Eagles, while the action continues after the Thunder/Victory game with the under-18s facing Rowville Eagles.
The Thunder is leading up to their regular season Victorian Premier League opener against the Southern Stars FC at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex on Saturday 6 April.
Kick-off for the Thunder/Victory match is 5pm.
