ANOTHER stellar outing at the recently held Australian Open Karate Championships showed Dandenong’s Australian Shukokai Karate claim a plethora of medals.
The Alan Murdoch Shukokai dojo excelled at the event – held last month in Sydney – as the likes of Rahal Mysore, Mitch Tielan, James Davis, Beau Davies, Daniel Tielan, Matthew Tielan, Emily Butcher competed, placing highly at the national competition.
James Davis relished the competition in particular, winning the Veteran’s Kumite 4-1 to claim his first Australian Open victory.
