Cable thieves caught on camera

Burglars have broken in and stolen a ute-load of copper wiring from a Dandenong South cable manufacturer’s yard on 15 July.

The three intruders cut a hole in the perimeter fence at the Tycab business and drove a blue-grey twin-cab utility into the yard about 5.47am.

They filled the ute’s tray with copper wiring, and drove off in a northerly direction on Frankston-Dandenong Road.

Greater Dandenong CIU detectives have released CCTV images of the alleged intruders and the ute.

The burglars – two males and one female – are described as Caucasian.

Any information to Greater Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 and Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersvic.com.au
