DANDENONG Pavilion has won a national small business award.
The 2013 Australian Small Business Champion Award winners were announced at a presentation in Sydney on 13 April.
The Princes Highway eatery took out the best restaurant title.
“Not bad for a little joint in Dandy,” a message on its Facebook page read.
“We would like to say a big thank you to all our wonderful customers who have helped us every step of the way.
“This is a national program and it’s a great honour to win our division.
“It’s a testament to all our staff who put in countless hours of hard work so we can give our customers our absolute best.
“We’re a family restaurant, we’re not fine-dining. But we always give 100 per cent.
“We’re also very proud to bring a national award to Dandenong.”
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards supports and recognises small businesses across Australia.
It became a national program in 2007 after starting out as the New South Wales Small Business Champion of Champions Awards in 1999.
