SPRINGVALE’S heart will soon become a winter wonderland – complete with snow.
The first Springvale Snow Fest is on from 1pm to 7pm on Sunday 21 July at the corner of Buckingham and Balmoral avenues.
There’ll be a real snow play area for snowman building and ice sculpting, lion dancing, rides and winter decorations.
Greater Dandenong Mayor Angela Long said Springvale was a great place to celebrate winter.
“It’s rich in food shopping, unique retail offerings and restaurants with the most wonderfully warming food,” she said.
Entry to the festival area is free and a one-off $5 wristband gives access to all rides and the snow area.
In case of rain the event will continue in the same location under cover.
Wonderful white Christmas in July
