A FIREBUG has doused a vacant Dandenong North house in petrol and set it alight.
Fire crews were called to the Gladstone Road address about 10.40pm on Tuesday 5 April.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said someone was seen fleeing the scene in a late-model white sedan parked in First Avenue.
She said the damage bill was unknown, but there was smoke and fire damage throughout.
