Black Rhinos ready for the charge

Two Dandenong sports clubs will share more than $6000 in State Government grants.
The Black Rhinos basketball team, for troubled African youths, will use $5500 for uniforms, equipment and training while Dandenong City Soccer Club will spend $855 on uniforms and equipment.
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams announced the Sporting Club Grants Program cash on Monday 29 May.
“Here in Dandenong, our grassroots sports clubs are the lifeblood of our community,” she said.
“We are supporting their efforts to make sport accessible and inclusive to everyone.
“Sport is a great leveller and a great lever; we’re making sure people from all walks of life can get active and play.”
The next Sporting Club Grants Program funding round will open on Monday 19 June.
