Dandenong Plaza’s Kmart store is urging shoppers to dig deep for those in need this Christmas.
The shop launched its Wishing Tree Appeal on Wednesday 15 November, 30 years after first partnering with the Salvation Army on the project.
Shoppers are encouraged to donate a gift for someone doing it tough during the festive season, from kids through to adults.
The Salvation Army then distributes the presents. The appeal collected more than 380,000 gifts last year.
The Keysborough Kmart store at Parkmore has also launched its Wishing Tree Appeal for this Christmas.
