Three of the Best

Three …
ways to get a dose of Christmas cheer.

1. The Springvale Benevolent Society and other charities need cash, food and gifts to brighten the festive season for those doing it tough in Greater Dandenong. Contact Joe Rechichi on 0409 249 881 to lend a hand.

2. The Australian nativity scene at St Elizabeth’s in Dandenong North is in its 14th year and will be on show from 11 December to 12 January. Creator Wilson Fernandez adds to the display each year. Call the parish office on 9795 6217 or Wilson on 0428 927 110 to arrange a viewing, or check it out after mass on weekends. Visit stelizabethsparish.org.au for details.

3. Greater Dandenong Carols in Harmony Square will kick off at 6.30pm on Friday 15 December. Santa will pop in from the North Pole and there’ll be face painting, arts and crafts, market stalls and performances from the City of Greater Dandenong Band and more.
