A man has been charged with the murder of a woman, whose body was found in a home in Douglas Street, Noble Park on Monday 29 July.
The 36-year-old man had been arrested in Doveton by Homicide Squad detectives that day, and taken to hospital under police guard.
He was charged with murder on the afternoon of 30 July.
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1 August.
