Melbourne Ballet Company’s latest production On Air leaps into action at the Drum Theatre this week.
Drum Theatre director Greg Hordacre said the company had been praised for its “original and exciting shows”.
In this performance, classic and contemporary dance will share the stage with pianists playing Debussy’s On Air, Chopin’s Motion Transcend, and Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
“It is an honour to have this extraordinary performance which will bring such artistry, emotion, beauty and passion to audiences in Greater Dandenong,” Hordacre said.
On Air features Melbourne Ballet Company’s resident choreographer Simon Hoy and celebrated pianists Igor Machlak and Olga Kharitonova.
