TWO men have been arrested, with the help of police dogs, after allegedly attempting to ram a police car in Dandenong.
The men in an allegedly stolen car tried the ramming manoeuvre outside a business at the corner of Gladstone Road and Princes Highway about 12.05am on Wednesday 7 September.
Police avoided the collision, and tracked the fleeing car through several suburbs to Cranbourne.
The two men were bitten by police dogs and arrested in a Sladen Street property’s backyard.
A 27-year-old from Keysborough was taken to hospital with bite wounds and was under police guard.
A 34-year-old Dandenong man was treated by paramedics at the scene.
He was expected to front Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on charges of theft of motor vehicle, evading police, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, handling stolen goods and possessing suspected proceeds of crime.
