Police hunt for hit-run driver

A CAR struck a Springvale teen and fled the scene on Sunday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred just before 11pm on Sunday 19 January and left the 19-year-old victim in The Alfred hospital with serious injuries.
He was crossing Springvale Road, about 200 metres south of Springvale Railway Station, when a small, light blue sedan struck him.
The car was last seen travelling north on Springvale Road.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives are investigating and urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
