VSDCA – round 10 (week two)

NOBLE Park (5/215) maintained its place in the VSDCA East/West top four with a 5/215 win over Yarraville.
Chasing a reasonable target set by Yarraville (8/181) the week before, Noble Park took to the target quickly and powerfully as the Edmunds, Dean (22) and Ben (38) put on 59 for the first wicket. From there Marasinghe Perera (85) was too strong to stop as he muscled runs at will in tandem with veteran all-rounder Johan Vorster (49). Noble Park reeled in the runs with 17 overs to spare.
The fourth placed Noble Park faces Croydon at home this round with a chance to all but secure their place in the finals.
