A WOMAN narrowly escaped from two men who cornered and threatened her at Sandown Park railway station on 12 February.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives are appealing for any information about the incident, and for a man who assisted the victim to come forward.
The 19-year-old was walking north to the station along Corrigan Road, Noble Park, about 5.15am.
A dark sedan with tinted windows and no registration plates approached from behind and pulled in front of her at Alamein Street, blocking her path.
The passenger, a man dressed in black, exited the vehicle, ran toward the woman and threatened her while the driver stayed behind the wheel.
The victim ran to the station and received help from a man who appeared to be on his way to work.
The man, who was chasing her, then turned and ran back to the vehicle and left the area.
