ATTAR in Keysborough was a finalist for the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame’s Technology in Manufacturing award.
The company describes itself as a progressive small to medium enterprise interested in advancing Victoria and south east Melbourne’s manufacturing capability.
“We are very honoured to be short-listed for this award,” ATTAR managing director David Lake said.
“Our technologies empower companies to build effective strategies and a solid plan for improved quality and reliability, which is key to becoming a supplier of choice.”
Dr Gary Martin and Don McConville founded ATTAR in 1986 to conduct materials testing and research using the most advanced techniques available, and to provide non-destructive testing (NDT) training to Australian industry.
It’s gradually expanded its capabilities to meet market demand, and now offers the highest level of NDT training, consulting and specialist NDT services offered by a single provider.
ATTAR delivers leading practice engineering testing, training and consulting services covering an expansive array of disciplines, including materials engineering, asset condition monitoring, floor consulting and expert witness services.
