TWO men and a teenager were arrested after a $150,000 Porsche was carjacked in Fitzroy and found in Hampton Park hours later.
A Springvale man, 24, a Surrey Hills man, 22, and a 16-year-old boy from Keysborough were remanded by police.
The arrests came after a white Mitsubishi was allegedly rammed into the back of the Porsche about 10.40pm on Saturday 11 July while the Porsche driver, a 44-year-old man form Bundoora, was stopped at traffic lights on Nicholson Street, North Fitzroy.
When the victim got out of his car to take a photo of the damage he was confronted by a man who pulled out a gun and demanded his car keys.
One suspect got into the driver’s seat of the Porsche while the other two got back in the Mitsubishi and the two cars drove off.
At 4am the next morning, detectives found the Porsche in Karoonda Way, Hampton Park, and arrested three suspects.
One was charged with theft offences and kept in custody, one was charged and bailed and one released pending further inquiries.
