THE City of Greater Dandenong is calling on residents to take part in community feedback sessions on the new Springvale Library and Community Hub.
Mayor Heang Tak said the architects want to enter a design competition for the project but the council wants to make sure the details are in line with what the community expect from the hub.
“We want this site to be accessible and welcoming to the whole community and we want the community to share their ideas and expectations with us,” Cr Tak said.
“You can drop in to a community feedback session or share your thoughts online.
“We want to hear from as many people as possible as this will be a facility for the whole community.”
Community feedback sessions will be held on Saturday 2 April at Springvale Library from 11.30am-2.30pm, on Thursday 7 April at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre, 18-34 Buckley Street, Noble Park, from 11.30am-2.30pm and on Friday 8 April at Parkmore Customer Service Shop, Keysborough, from 11.30am-5pm.
