A Sydney fun-run is helping Dandenong babies to survive and thrive.
Funds raised through the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn, held in May, will buy a $25,200 cosy cabinet for Dandenong Hospital’s maternity ward.
The equipment currently being used is functional, but bulky and dated.
The cosy cabinet helps to maintain a baby’s vital signs and stabilise their condition until they can be transferred to a neonatal unit.
Humpty Dumpty Foundation executive chairman Paul Francis founded the charity 26 years ago.
It’s since raised more than $55 million for hospitals.
Wallaby great Phil Kearns founded the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn.
