Bail for drug-clear trafficker

A NOBLE Park man charged with trafficking more than an estimated $100,000 of drugs seized from his family home has been assessed as suitable for rehab-focused CREDIT bail.
So Aung, 33, appeared at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 24 October after two weeks on a bail regime including daily reporting to police, night curfew and being under the directions of a private drug and alcohol clinician.
Magistrate Jack Vandersteen said Aung had returned drug tests clear of cannabis, heroin and ice since attending the clinic.
Police allegedly seized cannabis, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and hashish during a raid of Aung’s home on 7 October.
Aung was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 21 November.
