Dandenong North Primary students received a reward for reading.

The school welcomed children’s author Michael Panckridge on Friday 15 June to recognise that it topped the registrations for the 2017 Greater Dandenong Libraries Summer Reading Club.

Panckridge was an ambassador for the reading challenge and helped to launch last year’s club at Springvale Library.

The 2017 theme was Game on! which aligned with Panckridge’s two passions of writing and sport.

He shared his enthusiasm for books and helped to inspire students to prepare for the 2018 Summer Reading Club.
