Phoenix up in flames

A classic American car has been torched at a factory on Healey Road, Dandenong South.

The 1964 Dodge Phoenix was deliberately set alight about midnight on the night of Saturday 24 November, Dandenong CIU police say.

It had been parked at the business, awaiting a paint job.

A half-burnt newspaper was found inside the vehicle.

It was later towed to Victoria Police’s Forensic Services for investigation.

The factory was not damaged by the fire.

Any information to Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au
