DANDENONG police charged a man over an aggravated burglary in Springvale in December.
Police say the 36-year-old man forced his way into a home in Burden Street, Springvale, about 8.40am on 11 December.
The man is alleged to have assaulted the 84-year-old male occupant of the house, and his 81-year-old wife.
Both sustained minor injuries.
The man has been charged and remanded in custody to appear in court in March.
