Budding performers who have overcome adversity will be staging a free end-of-year concert in Dandenong.
Plaza Live is a collaboration of singers, duos and dance groups from FReeZA and Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD).
It is a culmination of free music and dance classes and mentoring by the MMAD charity at Armada Dandenong Plaza during the year.
MMAD works with young people to build creative expression and break negative cycles.
It has been given free retail space by Armada Dandenong Plaza for the project.
Young people from the State Government project FReeZA have helped with sound teching and event management.
City of Greater Dandenong Youth Services was also involved.
Plaza Live is on Friday 7 December 5.30-7.30pm at Armada Dandenong Plaza, level 2 (near Daiso).
