Stabbed man stable

A NOBLE Park man was stabbed in Pakenham on the weekend after an altercation between two men.
The 38-year-old man was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach at a home in Pakenham at 12.43am on Sunday.
The victim underwent surgery at the Dandenong Hospital on Sunday and this week was in hospital in a stable condition.
Dandenong CIU is investigating the incident and has spoken to witnesses.
A 44-year-old Pakenham man has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody and was to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).
