City names new chief

GREATER Dandenong Council has appointed a new chief executive.
John Bennie will leave his post at Manningham Council to join Greater Dandenong this October.
His appointment follows the resignation earlier this year of Carl Wulff, whose role has been filled temporarily by acting chief executive Bryan Payne.
Mr Bennie will begin work with Greater Dandenong on 2 October.
