Cafe satisfies political hunger

VOTERS taking advantage of Federal Election pre-polling services at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong can stave off the hunger of the big day with a snack from the venue’s cafe, the City of Greater Dandenong says.
The Drums Theatre’s bar will operate as a cafe serving coffee, cake, sandwiches, focaccias and more for voters in need of refreshment as they make that crucial decision that will shape the future of Australia’s political landscape over the next four years.
Votes can be cast at the Drum Theatre’s pre-poll voting centre until this Saturday, 24 November, when the general voting commences.
Pre-poll votes are cast by voters who will not be able to get to a polling place in their state or territory on election day.
