FORMER Telstra boss Ziggy Switkowksi will be guest speaker at a Greater Dandenong business luncheon in May.
Dr Switkowski’s theme will be Climate Change and The Role of Nuclear Energy in Australia at a business lunch at Sandown Racecourse on Friday, 11 May.
The function is being organised by the Dandenong Rotary Club.
Dr Switkowski was recently appointed chairman of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and previously chaired the Prime Minister’s committee of inquiry into nuclear energy and uranium mining.
Dandenong Rotary Club president Peter Davidson said he was looking forward to a well-attended function, particularly in view of the current public and political interest in climate change and alternative energy supplies.
