Beating the blues

A PEER support group for residents living with mental illness is starting in Noble Park.
GROW, funded by the State Department of Health, offers a support group focusing on people working together towards improved mental health through a 12-step framework.
The meetings are run by the group members, and only first names are used to guarantee confidentiality.
The meetings in Noble Park will start on 20 June from 10.30am to 12.30am.
They will be held in Function Room 3 at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre, 34 Buckley Street, Noble Park.
