POLICE are appealing for witnesses to two knifepoint robberies.
A man and woman produced a knife and demanded money from the console operator at the 7-11 on the corner of Heatherton Road and Douglas Parade in Noble Park about 1.35am on 10 December.
They fled empty-handed.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage and asking anyone with information to come forward.
And in the second incident a man, described as of African appearance, approached a 24-year-old Dromana man walking along Princes Highway in Springvale, near Springvale Road, about 8.50pm on 7 December, produced a knife and demanded he hand over his wallet.
The victim did, and the thief fled on foot.
