The Stingrays were 49 points down at three-quarter time after a scoreless third quarter, but charged home with six goals to add some respectability to the scoreboard.

Stingrays talent manager Mark
Wheeler said: “We had 10 17 year olds play today, two for their first game in the TAC Cup in Ben Giobbi and Jack Wheeler.

“All of them will be
better off for the experience moving ahead. I thought both debutants were
serviceable and have something there to work with.”

Next Sunday the
Stingrays host the TAC Cup ladder leaders in the Eastern
Rangers. The game starts at 12.30pm at Shepley Oval, Dandenong and entry is free.
